Sonoma or SFSU?
Oct. 2nd, 2008 06:50 pmA few weeks ago, I was accepted to San Francisco State University. I thought that was cool, but I was mainly focused on waiting for September 30 to roll around. That was the day that I would hear from Sonoma State University which was my first choice. I finally got the response from Sonoma today and...I was accepted. And now I have no idea as to what I should do.
Two weeks ago, I knew where I wanted to go and what I wanted to do with my life. I was going to go to Sonoma and study Creative Writing, get my B.A. and my M.A., and I was going to be an editor. But now I'm so confused. I don't have any idea as to whether I'm a good writer. What if I completely fail? I don't know if I really want to be an editor. I have no idea what to do. None of those so-called "high-paying" jobs are that appealing to me. I just. I don't seem to be interested in a whole lot these days. I mean, this is my future I'm talking about. I'm twenty, I have no clue as to even who I am but with the economy the way it is and my family's income, I can't take a year off.
So...yeah. Totally confused as to where my life is going. But I know that the first step is choosing a school. I have until tomorrow to decide, because I have to call Sonoma about the housing situation.
Okay, that was end of my whining. I'm off to work on my Japanese homework (so far I've got an A in the class, yay!) and English homework (we have to do individual presentations, eek!). I also have to take the film quiz online, but I'll do that on Saturday.
Only two more hours until Supernatural!

Sep. 14th, 2008 08:24 pmGuess who got a 99 on her hiragana test? That's right, I did! Sooo happy about that.
I have another test tomorrow, a dictation/translation test. I don't really know how to study for that, but we'll see.
I still have to read Jack London's "To Build a Fire" and answer the discussion questions for tomorrow.
My Charlie story is now up to six pages, I think that I might work on this for my master's degree, if it's allowed.
Bought four books today: You Suck: A Love Story by Christopher Moore, Parable of the Sower by Octavia E. Butler, The Sisters Grimm by Michael Buckley, and The Sandman: Volume One by Neil Gaiman. The Sisters Grimm was supposed to be for my eight year old cousin but, apparently, her reading level isn't that high, so now it's mine.
I'm trying to make sense of my new, probably crappy, Photoshop. I've made a couple: A Sena icon, a Dean icon, a cloud icon, two Batman icons and two Robert Downey Jr. icons, in that order.
( Here they are )
Icon Count: 7
Eyeshield 21: 1
Supernatural: 1
General: 1
Batman: 2
Robert Downey Jr.:2
All of them are gankable, except for the general one(s).

Fannish(?) Things and School
Sep. 5th, 2008 11:17 amGot Heroes Season 2 and Supernatural Season 3. The Impala Featurette is shiny. I WANTS ONE. The second season of Heroes is not as bad as I thought it was going to be. Clearly, having low expectations is the key.
I got an awesome new layout. It is super pretty and made by
minty_peach.
I have a Hiragana test on Monday, on my birthday. Man, it's a good thing that I like Japanese.
Um...what else was I going to post? Oh, I now have seventeen original stories. But one of them is over three pages which is good.I had to force myself to continue it. Otherwise I would have written new stories and never would've come back to Charlie's story.

Laziness and School. And Other Things.
Aug. 22nd, 2008 04:16 pmI have been incredibly lazy these past *checks* four weeks. However in my defense, I was celebrating the end of summer school and my good grades (and the Olympics. Yay for Michael Phelps!). A for Film and a B for History.
Let's see, what's new?
Oh! School started this week. I'm taking 18 units. Luckily Psychology and Philosophy are easy A's. Japanese and Film might be my hardest classes. English and Japanese seem like they'll be the most enjoyable.
I applied to Sonoma State University. I have enough units so that I didn't have to send them my high school transcript (so bad). I just have to get good grades this semester and I'm in! Unless they don't accept me. *paranoid*
I've been laughing on and off at Breaking Dawn. When I'm not laughing, I'm seething. Laughing's better for my health, so I try to not be angry.
I've spent the last two days reading three webcomics. They are good. :)
I started another story during Psychology class Wednesday. Now I have FOURTEEN original stories with no end in sight. SAVE ME!
Also, my back hurts. A lot.

So, summer school has officially started. I have an online class and my history class starts tomorrow. The spring semester ended three weeks ago. I had planned on catching up with my shows and manga. I am so far behind on Naruto and Bleach. I still have to read Oofuri and xxxHOLIC.
Instead of using my free time to do what I planned, I've been sleeping and doing absolutely nothing.
Except for the part where I discovered my love for Eyeshield 21. I don't even like football! But I'm on the 21th episode and I starting the manga today (Shin, Hiruma and Sakuraba are so my new boyfriends).
I've also kind of fallen in love again with Prince of Tennis. *hangs head*
Oh, and I now have about 10 original stories in progress. With no end in sight.
Grades:
Astronomy 101: A
History 110: A
Psychology 116: A
Speech 120: B

Behold My Writing Prowess!
Mar. 17th, 2008 09:14 pm*Changed my LJ layout back to what it was last summer.
*Supposed to be studying for my Astronomy Exam tomorrow.
So last week, during History class, instead of taking notes I found myself writing a Tim/Kon snippet. So, here it is:
( Kon leaned down and licked a wet stripe down Tim's back. )
Hopefully, I'll finish it someday (Although I would really prefer that inspiration not strike while I'm supposed to be taking notes and paying attention in class).
Okay, now I really have to study.
